The Wood Studio
Conceived in 2010 by Pete Duncan
Cutting his teeth in his father's workshop, he realized that there was no escaping the inherent beauty of natural materials.
The progression of the wood studio to a handcrafted eyewear company is a long and storied tale, that ends with the need for affordable, beautiful, and rugged eyewear that goes anywhere.
Legacy Eyewear was created in 2016 to further push The Wood Studio into the eyewear industry and to help it kick off a brand new line!
Our sunglasses are made right here in Wilmington, NC handcrafted by a small team of craftsmen. Each pair is put through rigorous scrutiny of both quality and finish. All our sunglasses come standard with the best polarized lenses available, with dual scratch resistant coatings, 100% UVA/UVB protection, and are shatter proof. The frames are double-hinged for amazing flexibility to comfortably fit most faces. For all you folks who have lost a pair of your favorite sunnies to the depths of a lake or ocean, no worries, these puppies float!
